As soon as those lights went down we were squealing like toddlers on Christmas. We could barely see anything, but we didn’t care. We had lawn seats, so me and my cousin were tiny enough to squeeze closer to the front of the lawn. Regardless, I was pumped.īy the time we got to the concert, the place was already packed. ![]() Which, might I add, is QUITE a trip from central New Jersey. I mean, Joe Jonas’ dance moves? And that tambourine? *swoon*īeing a 12 year old girl, all I wanted was to go see the Jonas Brothers. Sure, they had that typical cookie cutter pop sound. Now, the Jonas Brothers weren’t your average boy-band. Tiger Beat magazine is all you read, and Nick Jonas’ prepubescent voice is in your ears. The simplistic choreography, stylish clothes and synchronized guitar solos were just part of the long list of amazing parts of this concert.Disclaimer: Unfortunately this was before a time of constant picture snapping at concerts for me, so the photos are not mine! Throughout the night the crowd was completely engaged and happy watching the brothers do what they love most. The fans seeing this tour will definitely remember it. The crowd roared in laughter.Īll of the performances were iconic with the brothers performing a balanced mix of their older music as well as songs released after the band got back together in 2019. When this part came up in the song, instead of singing it, he grabbed someone’s sign from the front row that had read “red dress” on it in all block letters. To finish the toast they sang a very intimate and unplugged version of “When You Look Me In The Eyes” to the crowd.Īnother unforgettable moment of the night was when the band performed “Burnin’ Up.” Any fan of the Jonas Brothers know that Nick’s solo of the lyrics “red dress” are somewhat of a meme now to the internet community. After thanking them, they opened up the back of their piano which included a full bar inside then raised a toast to the crowd. ![]() Memorable moments of the night include when the brothers took time to thank the audience for being there for them. The brothers performed Joe Jonas’ band’s hits, “Cake by the Ocean” and “Toothbrush.” Not only was hearing DNCE’s hits a treat enough, but the brothers also surprised the audience by having JinJoo Lee, DNCE’s guitarist, perform these songs with them as well as play backup guitar for the rest of their set.Īfter performing another few songs, they did a Jonas Brothers rendition of Nick Jonas’ solo work by performing “Jealous” and “Close,” with Kelsea Ballerini making her second appearance of the night by singing the female vocals in the latter. The brothers also took time throughout the night to perform some of their solo work. ![]() The band proceeded the concert playing some of their other hit songs from the past year and a half including, “Only Human,” “Leave Before You Love Me,” “Lonely,” “What A Man Gotta Do” and even their two newest tracks: “Who’s In Your Head?” and “Mercy”. They made small videos that were integrated throughout the show talking about each of their first musical memories.Īfter the video ended, the brothers opened with their hit song the tour is named after, “Remember This.” The crowd went absolutely wild in anticipation for what else was in store for the night. Kevin, Joe and Nick began the “Remember This Tour” with a background video talking about their most memorable moments and what it means to live in the moment and then later reminisce on the good times. Now the moment all of the fans had been waiting for: The Brothers. This video was the icing on the cake for making her performance memorable and her fans go wild. Halfway through her set, she shared a video she had made herself as an audition for a Jonas Brothers Meet and Greet back in 2008. The audience adored Ballerini because of her beautiful vocals and bubbly personality. She opened with her hit single, “Miss Me More,” and she proceeded to excite the crowd with her other hits such as, “Dibs,” “Peter Pan,” “Yeah Boy” and her newest releases, “Half of My Hometown” and “I Quit Drinking.” ![]() Kelsea Ballerini and her band performed next, truly livening up the audience in their long-awaited quest for the brothers.
